#OneotuchLive Great Grevy’s Rally

By on February 1, 2018

Last November, we received an invitation to participate in the 2018 Great Grevy’s Rally. Our initial thoughts were that the organisers had learnt of some of our members’ competence behind the wheel, but what got us the invite was our visual story telling capabilities. (more…)

#OnetouchLive Big North

By on May 2, 2017

Kenya north of the equator holds a beauty that you wouldn’t find anywhere else in Kenya : mountains with jagged edges that might have walked out of heaven are a magnet for your eyes as you roll down the lonely highway. (more…)

#OnetouchLive Dandora

By on February 20, 2017

Insecurity. Muggings. Theft. Garbage. That’s what Dandora is associated with. In an attempt to see if this is all that this 40-year-old settlement in Nairobi’s Eastlands District is all about, we ventured there last January under the guidance of a team from Dandora Hip Hop City. (more…)

#OnetouchLive Aberdares

By on November 30, 2016

From every trip we make, two main factors determine if a trip is successful: the photos, and the camaraderie. For Aberdare, it was the latter. Not that we didn’t find enough beauty to make great photos, no. It’s just that this trip was full of many great moments in between taking photos that made it all the more exciting for us all. #OnetouchLive Magadi

By on October 11, 2016

We never seem to get enough of Magadi. This was our third trip there in as many years and we believe we’ll still return there next year. If you’ve been there, we’re sure you know why. Despite the heat and semi arid landscapes that mean very few people call it home, a beauty that baffles many make Magadi a magnet for those seeking a quick adventure away from Nairobi. (more…)

#OnetouchLive Eastlando

Muggings. Carjackings. Thuggery.

These are just some of the adjectives used to describe Nairobi’s Eastlands.

Hello everybody! About one month ago, we finally went for our first #OnetouchLive trip of the year, to Hell’s Gate National Park in Naivasha. It has always been a favourite OT weekend getaway, due to its proximity to the city and incredibly breathtaking scenery, which is sure to blow you away every single time you go there, so that no two adventures to the park are quite the same. (more…)

#OnetouchLive Mfangano Island

By on June 1, 2016

Mfangano Island’s beauty and the warmth of it’s people had been calling on us for a while. We responded towards the end of May and decided to spend a couple of days there, immersing ourselves in the culture, lifestyles and food of Mfangano’s inhabitants. (more…)

#OnetouchLive – Ngong Road Forest

By on March 21, 2016

It’s not a place many would like to visit because of the stories of carjackings and muggings that have happened here. These were also our objection statements when we were invited to pay a visit by one of the Ngong Road Forest Association members. In her defence and that of the forest, she told us there’s parts that are completely fenced off ensuring safety for those visiting. Convinced, we got our cameras ready for the ‘myth debunking tour’. (more…)
