From every trip we make, two main factors determine if a trip is successful: the photos, and the camaraderie. For Aberdare, it was the latter. Not that we didn’t find enough beauty to make great photos, no. It’s just that this trip was full of many great moments in between taking photos that made it all the more exciting for us all.
We got into Aberdare National park through the Mutibo Gate and left through the Tree Tops Gate. In between the gates were majestic moorlands and temperature drops that made jackets and gloves our second skins. We got to visit Magura and Karuru Waterfalls and bond over some of the best meals we’ve ver had when camping, thanks to Mumbi Muturi.
